My intent was to cook our dinner on the Performer tonight but since our 30 mile an hour winds are still going it’s in the house tonight.
Started out with the ingredients for bread sticks, mixed everything together which from start to finish took almost 3 ½ hours but they were sure good.

Next up stuff for pizza in 12” CI skillet. This recipe is our of the Cook It In Cast Iron Book. Made the crust, then into pan ready for the cheeses, home-made pepperoni and Rich’s home-made sauce.

Then set skillet over medium high heat and cooked until outside edge of dough is slightly puffed 3 minutes. Then into oven for 20 minutes.

Was a delicious dinner and thanks for stopping by.

I don't think I've ever had anything like that but I'd sure like to. It's been a little windy here this afternoon too......

Nice!!!! What was the oven temp?

Robert, I had the oven at 400* and went 20 minutes. I did check at 15 minutes to be sure it wasn't getting to brown on the bottom.
Like I said I took this from Cook It In Cast Iron book pg.179. That book is awesome lots of good stuff!!:) Guess we'll have to try them all.

If my new diet (Atkins) would allow it, that would be the ticket. That is one great looking pizza Barb. You guys always do it right. Great cook.
