Saw this charcoal at the Home Depot, thought that I would give it a shot.
Ordered a couple of bags. Its Acacia Wood from Africa. Its called the Good Charcoal.
Doing some wings for the Daytona 500. Giving this new lump charcoal the lighting test. Will it spark & light me up or not.
The answer is NOT. So far so good.
15 mins later charcoal lights well and ashing over as you see
Wings on, off side direct
Looking guud, done.
Charcoal wrap up, this is a Aplus top of the shelf lump charcoal. Has way less start up smell than say Jealous Devil. Yet builds heat & holds it a very long time just like Devil charcoal. Its medium to small size lump. And works well in medium to small size smokers. I'm very impressed with this lump. I wish it came in bigger chunks & bags. It will be a close second to my favorite the Devil. Get yourself a bag & try it. You won't be disappointed.
Congratulations to FORD on the win again at Daytona! Pretty guud race all around. On to Cali.
