Carne Asada and Hatch Chili's Tostada's

So my Son who heads back to College tomorrow morning requested one of my Mexican cooks for his last meal. I went to the grocery and what do I see? they just got a huge load of fresh Hatch Chili's in. Stocked up.
So here it goes.

Went Medieval on a beautiful Flank Steak

Into the marinade with OJ, sliced lemons and crushed garlic for a few hours in the fridge, and white onion also

White onion diced, garlic, cilantro, lime and Avocado and one of the Hatch's for the Guacamole in the Molcahete. Other Hatch's diced for a topping.

Jeez Bill! You guys are cooking machines! Wonderful meal and great pics. If I ate like you guys every night I would need a gym membership and a trainer :).
 
Bill that is spot on. What a great send off for your son. He will miss your cookin' for sure.
The wife has been hitting the local farmers market on Sat's stocking up on the roasted chili's there.

This could be a man with German roots, I think. But ... as a cook Italian, Japanese, Korean, American, Spanish, Greek, Mex etc ... everything here is perfect presentations! So who the hell is this guy?;)
