Cajun Catfish on the grill

Not exactly a specialty of mine but it sure was good!

I found some catfish scraps at the store yesterday for $3/lb and I took the bait:

Cooked up a little rice with onion, carrots, an anaheim pepper, and some celery....along with some cajun spice that someone left over here.

I grilled it indirect for probably 10 minutes on the warming racks, then probably 3 x 3.5 minutes.

Real good stuff!

Nicely done! It's been awhile since I BBQ'd catfish, but that's because it's been awhile since I've been to the lake. You've been putting the gasser through the paces lately

I was wishing there was more when it ran out ---- I remember getting hits of lemon & butter along with the Cajun flavors, sure was tender. (I didn't add any lemon or butter)

If I've cooked catfish before it's been under a handful of times and not very memorable!

>>Chuck - the gasser has been killin it. Love that thing.
