No it’s not the latest Weber recipe. Good intentions….. start with some sirloin, meatballs, bell peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes.

Get a good helper.

Cook over direct WAY too long. I should know better. Even the helper thought I left them on too long.

I'm with everyone else on this - they look great! But Rolf, you never said how they TASTED... I'm guessin' they tasted as good as they look!

Not so good Mike. The steak was well done and dry. I like steak rare and juicy. The peppers were burnt and tasted like it. Should have listened to the helper. :)

They look good... I was expecting black charred pieces beyond recognition. Don't be to hard on your self... :)

Did the helper get to try the steak?!? I'm sure rare or well done made no difference to them. And like Tony R said, don't be too hard on yourself... every experience is a good one when it comes to grilling/barbecuing/smoking... good learning experience and/or good eating experience - you just can't go wrong!

I bought a pack of wooden kabob sticks... just workin' up to deciding what to stick on 'em....

Looks good to me, but I know how you feel. We're all our own toughest critics. I'm wondering what to do for a late dinner and wish I had some!
