Breaking In My New Rotisserie

My wonderful wife got me the Weber rotisserie for my Performer. I took it out tonight for a spin (pun intended).

That's odd. I just went out and slid mine on. Drops right in and is nice and snug. If it continues, I'd give Weber a call. Good luck.

I see the knotches that the instruction booklet indicates should fit over the screw for the lid bail system but i don't seem to be able to get two of them to line up and the ring is not sitting flush. I had to lightly bang it down to seat enough where it was not rocking.

Nothings better than a bird on the spinner. Hope you can work out your rotisserie ring issues.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Jeff as long as it cooks ok I'm fine with it. I will say that the Performer held a rock steady 450 throughout the cook so I guess it's not to bad.
