Did you watch "Best. BBQ. Ever." on Food Network last night? It's a good hour of barbecue television, beautifully shot. It will make you want to break out the smoker and barbecue something! See link for upcoming air times: http://www.foodnetwork.com/shows/best-ever/100-series/best-bbq-ever.html

Planned on watching it closely, but got distracted and just caught bits of it. So thanks for the link to the re-airing dates!

I was watching Guy's BBQ shows (DD&D three or four episodes before) and knew I was going to bed early but saw it in the line-up so I recorded it.

Is Best. Ever. a series?

It looks like the WORLD has just discovered BBQ, doesn't it? Tonight on the TV News they previewed a new BBQ joint in a revitalized "Over the Rhine" area of Cincinnati. It's supposed to be the real deal in the downtown area.

I confess that when I take a look onto my patio, I have to smile (just a bit, you understand, just a bit...).

Keep on smokin',

I watched it. The "Best Ever" is a little tongue in cheek, the same way I might listen to the radio and say "This is the best song ever!" and then say the same thing 10 minutes later about a different song. They showed a lot of great BBQ, but don't expect any traditional joints to be shown or BBQ from any traditional state for that matter. That seems to be the point though. I'm a huge fan of chopped and Ted Allen. The whole series looks to be awesome. Each week seems to focus on a different food.
