Before and After

This Monday I bought a performer for $60 from a guy that was moving out of state. Great condition :)

I have an extra new blue bowl and ash catcher so I decided to switch out.

Used the lid from my other performer. I have an extra blue lid as well. :)

Sorry for no bbq on the pics but I'm pretty excited on how it looks now.

Nice. But uhhh... why do you have a blue bowl kicking around??

I have another performer that was chipping all over the bowl. I called weber and said it was a defect and I was covered. I never installed and was going to wait until it got worse.

Very nice Tony! If you want to make the table look brand new as well, hit it with 2000 wet and dry sandpaper (wet) in straight strokes along the long side and then a thin coat of lemon furniture oil. It will look brand new :).

TONY - I have a blue performer (2 yrs) and actually noticed the chipping on the LID from no damage whatsoever, but haven't noticed this on the BOWL yet. I wonder if this just pertains to the blue ones. I actually took pics the other day, and was going to call Weber, but this is even more motivation to do so.

BTW - I'm kind of a lurker here, and have been looking at all your guys' pics. I'll start to post soon I think.

Thx

Martin

Welcome to the site. Call weber and see what they say. I noticed some chipping on the lid by the handles but looks like it's normal. Most of my lids have the same chipping.
