Bought a beer can chicken holder last week at Big lots and thought I'd give it a test run. I seasoned the chicken with Cavender's salt free greek seasoning, kosher salt, and EVOO and fresh lemon.

Got the "beer" can ready.

I used Royal Oak lump and cherry wood. Earlier in the week I scrounged up some cherry wood from a local orchard. I had to cut the branches into chunks and had no saw. So I went to Harbor Freight and bought this for $20.

I placed the chicken on the grill and soon realized that it was too tall and the lid wouldn't fit!
So I ended up removing the can.

Cooked chicken till it reached 165. I tried using a kabob stick to hold the wings together.

Served up the chicken with sauteed spinach and buttered spaghetti with salad supreme seasoning. Everything turned out well I really liked the greek seasoning. Thanks for looking.
