Started out today doing a stew on the WSM. But Mother Nature decided to hammer NJ today with 3 inches of rain in ten hours. Plan B in effect, no worries, no Webers were harmed in my pursuit.

Does a meat for stew ever look any better

Meat browned and removed, then onions then some red wine to deglaze. All back in the pot with Cumin, garlic, S&P one container of beef stock and one package of Lipton dry onion soup mix , beans held to later in the cook

Great looking stew Bill! I make that and pot roast quite often, guess its part of my mid western meat and potatoes heritage.
 
Delicious looking stew, Bill. Nothing better that good hearty stew, particularly in the winter, but generally speaking any time. Great job, once again.
 
You just know this is good. Looking at it is just a tease. Bet it was packed with flavour. Great one Bill!
