Beef kabobs on the WSM!!

Evening folks..I have cooked kabobs several different ways on the 22's and I just have not found that perfect method..I have been playing with the WSM and made some wings the other nite with no water pan and was thinking this might work well for kabobs...so I soaked some chunked up TT in Yoshida's teriyaki and some minced garlic and ginger for about 30 hours I suppose..added some veggies and made up some kabobs!

Hit the store tonight on the way home and found a new beer to try!!

Tossed the kabobs on the WSM rolling at about 350...little hickory smoke as well!

Meanwhile my lovely wife made up some cheesy artichoke French bread!! One of my favorite sides!

My two monkeys being silly.."don't share moms recipe" ya right!

Ok kabobs cooking along!!

Close up!

And plated up with rice, bread, left over avocado salad...good stuff right here!

Overall a great dinner..loved the WSM method for the kabobs..might need to modify the sticks a bit..almost couldn't get the lid closed! The new to me beer was real smooth..over all great dinner!!

Take care folks!

Very nice looking meal. I've been wondering about that Fortune, may have to try some.

Just for you Bob..straight from the Boss..

1 loaf of French bread
1 8oz block of cream cheese – room temp
1 cup of shredded cheese, I use the mix bag, but normally people just add Parmesan cheese.
1 cup sour cream
1 to 3 gloves garlic – I like a lot of garlic so 3-4 gloves does the trick
1 can of artichokes in water/drained

Cut French bread in half lengthwise

In a bowl combine, Cream cheese and sour cream, add in artichokes, half of the cheese or more. Up to you, add in minced garlic, and the artichokes.

You now have a spread. Spread that on your French bread and add the remainder of shredded cheese to the top of your spread.

Place in over at 350. Degrees for 25 minutes or until top has a nice brown color. Voila, you’re done.

Cut up in any size slices you want, can be eaten warm or cold.

This is huge hit at office parties.

Beautiful Kabobs! (your photos are OUTSTANDING!!)
and Beautiful People!!

Great Post Morgan!!

I read somewhere the Miller Fortune was brewed to compete with bourbon... saw an ad where the beer was actually in a rocks glass...
if I find it again, i'll show ya.
I thought the taste was fine, I just don't care for the high alcohol content. If I wanna get buzzed fast, there's gin, Rhum and bourbon for that.

Thanks everyone for the great response..was a fun cook!!

Jim I agree..although I found this beer very drinkable..reminds me of the old style Molsen Ice..if I'm looking for a "loss of motor skills" ..bourbon or vodka for me!

Take care folks!
