Beef getting another bad rap targeting many of us!

Past that age group by 10 years but our meat preferences haven't changed much. since. At home it's an occasional tri-tip, chuckie, burger, pasta dish or chili with ground beef and maybe a couple of ribeyes on a special occasion. We eat a boat load of pork ribs and chicken thighs.

We don’t vast quantities of beef, an occasional steak, ground beef (burgers, chili, lasagna, etc.), big beef for special feasts, brisket when I just really feel the need! We do lots of pork and, chicken. Good fish is pretty dear around these parts and when I want it we have it! Julia child said it well, “Eat everything, just don’t eat too much.“ That‘s paraphrasing but, I believe it a realistic outlook.

Other than the chicken sandwich, what would be the best item/meal to order from Chick Fil A?

Is

Is it good?
I have never been.....I mean asking for a friend.
We have one here in Rockford. we've been there a couple times or so. Was never impressed. Nice people, but never impressed by the food. Waffle fries soggy, chicken not crisp. Overall just "meh". Honestly Culvers serves up better food (if you can get their lackadasacle staff to make what you order). I don't recall how expensive ChicFilA is but I can say though for the better eats at Culver's you do pay handsomely for that.

Not many people have to be begged to eat at Chik Fil A around here I am always amazed how busy they are. I actually like the chicken sandwich from Popeye's better but nothing wrong with the Chik sandwich either.

That's funny. I went on a grill run the other day (not for me). It was a decent trip down I-74, and on the way back I planned to stop and eat to let the Indianapolis traffic settle down. I sadly discovered that there were no Chick-Fil-A's on I-74 practically from Cincinatti to Indy. I settled for Culvers. My wife was shocked when I came home with a Culvers cup instead of Chick Fil A. I told her about my dilemma but that I wouldn't be making that mistake again. I guess my reaction to the two places is the opposite of yours, Larry. But that's what makes the world go around:).

My two sons like Chick Fil A, too, although my older son (right) likes Zaxby's more.

My gripe with CFA is every time I have gone there, the chicken as been soggy, with gummy coating, the waffle fries under done and soggy as well. IDK why this one in Rockford has so many issues making quaity food, but, sadly it's just plain disappointing. Whereas our Culver's is pretty reliab;e there (at least if they get your order right) which only do about 60% of the time
