Barbecue Beef Sandwiches

The inspiration for this recipe came from Pintrest. The recipe was for BBQ pot roast and was meant to be cooked in the oven but I knew it would be good outside. Salted a chuck roast with salt and pepper.

I smoked the beef for an hour and a half.

After letting the meat smoke I seared it in a CI skillet

Put the smoked roast in an aluminum pan with Kim's sauce.

Meanwhile made some baked beans. Same recipe as always. From Dave Lieberman.

Kim made the terrific coleslaw recipe we learned from Bill Schultz's post a couple of days ago.

Awesome meal Robert. I think the braise in sauce is a great technique and I will be trying it soon. We catch chuck roast on sale all the time so this would be a great and economical meal...

This is amazing. Just this morning I was wondering if a pot roast could be done on the smoker and this afternoon there are two different approaches to it posted by you creative people. What a great place to get ideas and inspiration...

Regards,

John
