I have never tried cooking pizza directly on the grates but that looks good. Any shots of the underside of the crust?

To post or not to post... This is the dilemma!
If I post i won't be nice because i want to be sincere as usually.
Ok! I post.
Really I don't understand your approach to pizza. Generally all of You stuff the pizza with tons of things, and sometimes things that don't match together at all. In this case the brownish ( pesto+tomato) + everything else.
Please, please I invite you to Keep It Stupid & Simple. If You want a tomato pizza, than cook a tomato pizza. If You want to use your pesto leftover, than cook another pizza. It will be much much better, imo.
I never try to modify bbq receipts because I want to eat different from italian style... I want to eat american style. So I can't / don't want arrange your layers of flavours with my italian ideas. This is your awesome bbq cusine and i just try to copy as best as i can.
Sorry, but this is my opinion in pizza cooking.

thanks guys! :)

The thing is Enrico you cook what you like to eat. If its authentic or not doesent really matter do it? I post Bolognese/pizza/lasagna/stir fry´s/tacos/bbq and it´s no way authentic...But i enjoy it. If you came to a pizza spot here in sweden you prolly turn @ the door. Dont get me wrong...I bet YOUR/Italians pizzas is great. But there is nothing wrong in cooking aslong as the chef does it the way he wants to eat it.

@ Enrico: this to me seems a simpler meal for Jim. He didn't also pile on his plate potatoes, asparagus, Brussels Sprouts or green beans :)
Jim: cold pizza for breakfast? Or was that a silly question!
