Bacon Donuts

Since I had to work this weekend I am doing my Smoke Day today. I have a pork butt on the WSM, so while
waiting for it to get done we decided to make a snack on the Performer. This recipe is from Harry Soo. Here
are the ingredients.


All put together.


Put onto a 400 degree Weber Performer with a chunk of hickory wood.


Donuts getting ready to come off the grill after 30 minutes.


Donuts are done!


Yum Yum Guuuuuuuuud!
 
Now there is a variety of flavors, all in one bite. Would love to be munching on one of those right now.:)

Was it hard to wrap the bacon? I tried this over the weekend and couldn't wrap them without everything falling apart.
 
Wonder how they would be with the string cheese replaced with some Merkts cheese spread....they would have to be good.
