Jo, Brooke, and I spent last week in Colorado visiting daughter, son, their spouses, and our grandkids.
We stayed a couple nights in Estes Park, and ventured into Rocky Mountain National Park.
Hadn't been to the park since the 1970's.
Here's a few pics.
Son and daughter live near the small town of Peyton, northeast of the Springs.
Peyton has a small bbq joint named Jo's Rusty Bronco, named after her brown 1960's Ford Bronco.
Her husband cooks the meat offsite, I assume at home, and she sells it here:
All this, with drink, for $7.25.
The pulled pork came sauced, the meat, sauce, and sides were all very good.
I missed my grills, so last night I cooked a chunk of beef tenderloin, and a sirloin steak.
This is the view from daughter and son-in-law's deck:
We had a great time, but it's good to be home!
