Baby Backs & Artichokes were on sale. What's a person to do? Buy & fire up the 14.5, I suppose.

Slathered the BBs with hot sauce & rubbed with Oakridge BBQ Dominator & Habanero Death Dust.

Put them on a spit & into the 14.5 for a spin.

Temps were running around 320*... a bit higher than what I wanted. Thought "OK... let it roll". About 2 hours into the cook:

Spritzed them several times with a 50/50 mix of ACV & Bourbon to slow things down... & pulled at 2 1/2 hours total time.

I let them rest, tented. Grilled the artichokes.

They were great!!! No sauce - didn't need any. Good crust, moist, tender & bite off the bone. Spicy! The 'chokes were spot on.

Liking the caterpiller style spinny bones. Bite off the bone is good. Them 'chokes look fab also.

I think this is like the fourth time I've seen you grill chokes. I keep telling myself I gotta give that a try. Your ribs are insane! Your ribs and a couple others, made the choice for dinner tonight simple

Great cook Robert - love the smoke ring on your ribs. What temp did you run at - looks like a HH cook? I never thought of using my rotisserie for ribs. You have gotten me thinking about it now though...

Regards,

John
