Nothing special about this cook except for two things. One, I tried a different rub on the ribs, Dizzy Pig Roaring River. I’ve used this on other cooks but not on ribs. The second PSA is I finally got some peach to smoke with. I’m kicking myself for all the times I missed out on this great wood. Try this, for real! I apologize to everyone who has been using peach but for me it was a truly unique and enjoyable surprise.

Wicked Good with one hickory and three peach.

Buddy is on “Squirrel Watch”. Between us, they always win.

Three hours in and just added some apple juice.

Fired up the Performer for potatoes and asparagus. Waiting for the coals, it was picking time. Yes, we like peppers around here.

Great cook as usual! I'm spoiled I guess -- I have a cpl peach trees in the yard. Plum, too.

I have a Dizzy Pig sampler but haven't used it yet. I need to try it.

Because of a bumper crop last year still on hand, I only had one pepper plant this year and it didn't do so well. We're gonna kick it up next year.

Great looking meal Rolf !!
Going to try some peach wood soon.
You have a fine looking companion with a sharp eye & nose for squirrel.
Bag one for him/her... :)

Good looking ribs Rolf.
I recently did a cook using peach for the first time and it was good.

A great looking cook, we don't have ribs here so I'm always envious, but what really got my attention was the size of your lump, here it's about the size of a hardball.

Great pictures and very nice cook. Peach huh, never tried it but I will now. That’s a beautiful oldie Goldie you've got there, I have two Golden’s also but here in Arizona lizards are the targets with the same results as Buddy’s, Lizards a gazillion - dogs 0.

Hey Rolf, I can see why Buddy is on guard duty. He doesn't want to share any of that great BBQ with those stinking squirrels. Can't say that I blame him. Nice post.
