Yep - It's ALWAYS (unless you're one of those V-people) a good day when you can eat KC or NY Strip for the price of Hamburger!

I thought that I had a good deal when our neighborhood grocer had Boneless NY Strip for $6.99/lb
Like you, I saw those and that little voice said "Guess what's for Dinner TO-NITE! (yippee!)

I like how you cooked 'em on the WSM - I've never tried that.
Mine went on the Weber Gasser with a few chunks of Mr. John Daniels reclaimed whiskey barrell with Kosher Salt & Penzey's Three-Color Peppercorn mix

The thing is, I expected them to be tough. These were very tender, you could have cut them with a butter knife. I stopped at the store on my way home tonight....All gone :(

I was wondering what I was going to have for dinner and then I saw this post. I didn't photograph my humble dinner but it sure was good!
