Tuesday night, I took two one-inch cut pork steaks, bagged them, then poured a Bloody Mary mix over'em
if that weren't enough, I seasoned'em with PIG SALT

peeled, oiled and halved a few yams on a cis

the steaks indirect for some time (I forget...)

then direct for some colour...

then wrapped in foil when I thought they were perfect....

not too much time later, dinner was served with the sweet potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts

As DELICIOUS as everything was on Thursday (Thanksgiving), I still remember how Awesome this dinner was this past Wednesday.

Another picture perfect awesome cook Jim! Reminds me that
we haven't had pork steaks in awhile here. Got to take care of
that real soon.
 
Another Pork Steak masterpiece, Jim! I could eat that for breakfast this morning, including an obligatory Bloody Mary to wash it all down ... :cool:
 
Nice work Jim...I never though of using BM mix as marinade!! Might have to give it a shot!!

That's a plate...love those spuds and sprouts!
 
The vodka went in the belly and the mix on the steaks? Streamline the operation...:) I admire your patience with the pork steaks, Jim. I always want to just cook 'em and eat 'em.
