Got them at my son's work, 99 cents a LBS. I used the store's version of Franks (which might be better than Franks) marinade for 10 hours.

Chuck those were grilled chicken wings. Look tasty but a little charred for me. I guess that charred skin over so little meat will affect taste.
Im practicing with wings and I'm confortable using only INDIRECT high heat cook, also in WSM.
More than this, those smoked in WSM WITH the pizza stone were the better ever done for me.

One of these days I'm going to try a indirect HH. Everyone loves the fire roasted wings, so I'm never allowed to change up. The blackened is flavoring (very good to us) but there's a fine line to just how much blacken to do
 
Great looking wings Chuck and you're right, there is a fine line to how much char to allow. I think you nailed it.
