    Onion in the charcoal basket

    My son ( a Green Egg Guy ) told me to add a small onion to the fire basket of my WSM. He said it will kick up the smell of cooking and ad a hint of flavour to the meat . Is this really true on WSM's also ???

    Sirloin Tip Roast Failed

    Well I tried a sirloin tip roast to %145 cooked hot around 325-350. Sliced thin med rare center looked great but !!!!!! Not tender not dry no flavour ( used steak rub ) What should I have done ???? Help please Jim

    Black Angus Patty Flops

    Well for fun I added a few Black Angus frozen burger pattys along with the ST Lois ribs and a few links of sausage. after first 2 1/2 hours I removed the pattys .. tasted um and tossed um to the dog. Oh yah and we eat the sausage while waiting on the ribs. Man oh man those BA beef pattys were...
