I got turned onto it a couple years ago and love it; sometimes I start craving it out of the blue. I'm afraid to ask Shelley how well she likes it because what would I do if she doesn't?
A couple breasts and legs in the oven with some vegetables:
I am curious. This is just one link:

I stumbled upon this last week and I've thoroughly enjoyed the several episodes I've watched so far. They have been heartwarming and even humbling to me. Have you watched any episodes?

When @Brenda T mentioned beef stew last week she got me to thinking about a chuck roast in the freezer :). So I decided to put it to good use and try a pot roast.
Some SPG
A sear
Readying some shiitake and onion
Add some beef broth
A faithful can of Campbell's mushroom soup...
(with ground beef). Another indoor cook with a nice aroma throughout the house. This was an 8-quart batch, which will feed us into Spring :)
And just in time to warm us up:
Enjoy the rest of your week, Gang!
I don't know about you but first experiences for me can be mentally stressful. That was especially the case during my first-ever pressure canning. On the first day, when I did an empty trial run, I bundled myself up and wore a face mask, lol. There will be no shared pics of that site. But during...
I am curious: are any of you avid canners?
Do you have a favorite site to recommend?
In a couple other threads I found recommendations for the Ball Blue Book (from McBob) and https://nchfp.uga.edu from @Larry D. (I hope you are doing well!).
Thanks!
No outdoor cookers nor Weber slow cooker on this one. We bought a new range and I experimented with convection cooking on a 15 lb. 1 year old bird that was consuming too much space.

One of the kids and soon-to-be Son-in-law have been begging for these again, and today was the right time.

But of course Beckett was the highlight:
Daredevil because--yes--I threw it down on the Ninja again. Seasoned with Susie-Q's Santa Maria Seasoning then smoked it for a while.
Packaged, seasoned, pre-sear, post-sear, sliced:
I lost track of the grain
Since the kids moved out--though they both live around the corner--most dinners include just the Wife and myself. Not that it's a reason not to use one of the more authentic smokers but we bought a Ninja Woodfire a few months ago and I find myself using it somewhat routinely.
I've done racks...
The Wife had a carry-in last week and signed-up for a dessert. Then she came home and said "I need you to make something impressive for me to take to work on Monday." I am not a dessert maker but when she says I need to do something I jump to it. So I psyched myself up for the challenge so long...
@LMichaels I'm looking for an electric can crusher and stumbled upon this. Forgive me, but you were the first person I thought of, lol:

What is your most trusted online source as a guide for plant care?
Or if you insist that I read a book rather than playing online what is your favorite book? But I often wake up with a book in my lap.
I'm curious: do any of you apply a protectant to reduce mower deck grass accumulation and/or protect your deck? One that lasts for at least a few months or so? Here are a couple links that may better illustrate my question:

Who knows what my name will be but I'm becoming a Grandpa tomorrow :). This might force me to swap out pics of Chucky, occasionally.
