    Beef Brisket...where to buy?

BJs in Chesapeake has them, usually around 4-5lbs. Wal-Mart has them too, but I've never tried one from there (I don't buy meat from a store if they don't have a butcher :) )

    26 vs 22?

Thanks for the feedback! Is there a big discrepancy in the amount of charcoal used in the 26 vs 22?

    26 vs 22?

Usually just for my wife and I; however, I usually cook a hell of a lot of food for left-overs and lunch during the week. On a typical night, I'll cook around 12 chicken breasts and a bunch of mixed veggies in a grill basket. I wish my local HD had a display of the 26 vs 22 to compare. I'm...

    26 vs 22?

Back in June, I bought my first Weber product, which was a WSM 22.5. I freaking love that thing! For grilling, I've been using an old Char-broil 6 burner gasser; however, i'm now ready to get a charcoal grill. With that said, I'm torn in different directions as to which one I should purchase...

    BBQ Pitmasters Competition at work

Thanks a bunch! My boss and I talk about grilling/smoking all the time, so we decided to do a team builder for the entire department. We had over 90 people show up with 5 teams competing. I'm sure we'll be doing it again next year. The only thing missing was an ice cold beverage :D. First...

    22.5 grates not the same

Ahhh I never thought of that because I usually just use tongs or mitts to remove the meat instead of lifting the entire grate. Makes sense now though :)

    22.5 grates not the same

I found out there was a difference when I was doing my first cook on the 22.5. I loaded her up with coals, and put the chamber on top with the water pan inside. Filled the water pan, and then grabbed one of the grates (not knowing they were different) and put it on the bottom. I place the...

    22.5 grates not the same

I bought my 22.5 in June. On my very first cook, I found out the hard way that the grates aren't the same. I called Weber Support and the rep promptly sent a replacement grate free of charge. This was my first Weber purchase and definitely not the last. Great customer service goes a long way

    BBQ Pitmasters Competition at work

Thanks Rick! The thing that saved me was creating an itinerary the day before. I knew exactly where I needed to be throughout the day whereas everyone else was winging it.
