    Just an FYI for everyone. I emailed Weber before calling them. It was suggested that I call to get it resolved quicker. I was on hold about 2 minutes and it was maybe a 5 minute conversation with the CS rep on the phone to get it resolved. She did not ask for pictures. When i checked my emails...

    Weber is coming though yet again. Called them yesterday and they are shipping a new piece out. I was hoping they would let me keep the one I have but they want me to ship it back. Oh well, I'm just happy they a correcting the problem.

    I just pulled my first butt off about an hour ago. Oh man is it good. It's just a little 3#r I wanted to try before doing a 10#r. She ran a little hot but I'm still breaking her in. I'll at least be doing a whole chicken this weekend and will probably try the hog apple beans recipe too.

    grilled bananas

    My wife and I recently ate here It was awesome. They serve banana as a side dish. I tried it as a condiment for one of the steaks. It paired so well I even got my picky wife to try it and admit she loved it. It's a nice, easy addition to top off a steak.

    I agree with Mark. How could anyone hate the smell? They probably liked it if they didn't close their windows. Fred, if you're that worried about it you have an open invitation to come smoke next to my house anytime you want.

    The apple and bean recipe sounds interesting. That many smokers can't be wrong. I wanted to add some pork in with whatever recipe I choose and make it the day before I invite some friends over for some Q. Do you think smoking a cheaper/smaller pork roast will suffice for a recipe like this?

    I've been looking for some baked bean recipes simalar to what a local bbq joint serves. They have a nice smokey flavor that's blanced well with some heat. Any ideas? If you've got a good one that isn't what I'm looking for still feel free to post it.

    Lid vent stuck

    I just got my WSM so I haven't had this problem yet. I would try Windex. I got this tip when buying my wife's wedding ring years ago. The jeweler said it works for getting stuck rings off. Windex has silicon in it so it should get it lubed up. I've never actually tried it so if anyone tries this...
