I have a whole loin (9.5lbs) that I am going to cook as just one of the meats for a large crowd. Unfortunately because of travel and timing I'm going to have to cook the loin on Friday for a Saturday afternoon meal so it will have to be reheated. Does anyone have a killer rub or injection...

6am would be pushing it for me. You could bump up the temps to 275 and probably be OK, but if it were me I'd either get them on at 4am or do an overnighter and let them sit in a cooler for a while when finished. I like to have most everything finished and cleaned up before my guests...

I just got a new Q100 last night and for the most part am very pleased. My only issue is the threads to screw in the 1lb propane tank are very VERY easy to cross thread. I've tried three different tanks and all three are very difficult to get screwed on. I can evenetually fight them on but...

The point is, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time. It's MUCH easier to hold your finished product for a few hours than it is to speed things up when you figure out "oops I'm not going to be ready on time". I have quite a few butts under my belt and have always done overnighters...
