    Beef Brisket...where to buy?

BJs in Chesapeake has them, usually around 4-5lbs. Wal-Mart has them too, but I've never tried one from there (I don't buy meat from a store if they don't have a butcher :) )

Sale Home Depot sale of Kingsford Original Charcoal at $9.88

Go to Lowe's and price match home depot and save an additional 10%. Plus I bet Lowe's has coupons online such as spend $50 and save $10. Buy online and pick it up 30 minutes later at the store! I'm buying at least 10 twin packs tomorrow.

Thanks everyone! I trusted my gut and purchased the 26" :-) Now the wife wants to know what's on my Christmas list to go with it!

    26 vs 22?

Thanks for the feedback! Is there a big discrepancy in the amount of charcoal used in the 26 vs 22?

    26 vs 22?

Usually just for my wife and I; however, I usually cook a hell of a lot of food for left-overs and lunch during the week. On a typical night, I'll cook around 12 chicken breasts and a bunch of mixed veggies in a grill basket. I wish my local HD had a display of the 26 vs 22 to compare. I'm...

    26 vs 22?

Back in June, I bought my first Weber product, which was a WSM 22.5. I freaking love that thing! For grilling, I've been using an old Char-broil 6 burner gasser; however, i'm now ready to get a charcoal grill. With that said, I'm torn in different directions as to which one I should purchase...

I love it when Lowes or HD has them on sale, because then you can use each other's Price Match Guarantee plus an additional 10% off. I just bought 4 twin packs from HD using their price match.

First Overnight Cook - WSM 22.5 - Two $0.99/lb Butts

Since I can't smoke anything on Saturday (hanging out with the wife, kid, and in-laws :) ), I decided to try my first overnight cook on my WSM 22.5. Last night I thawed out 2 butts I bought for $0.99/lbs (8lb and a 7lb) I bought my WSM in June and have about 12 cooks, so it should be...

    BBQ Pitmasters Competition at work

Thanks a bunch! My boss and I talk about grilling/smoking all the time, so we decided to do a team builder for the entire department. We had over 90 people show up with 5 teams competing. I'm sure we'll be doing it again next year. The only thing missing was an ice cold beverage :D. First...

    22.5 grates not the same

Ahhh I never thought of that because I usually just use tongs or mitts to remove the meat instead of lifting the entire grate. Makes sense now though :)
