I'd like some sort of scrolling, yes. Perhaps have 2 options via a radio button on the bottom... one selection gets you the full chart on a single screen, shrunk as necessary (kinda like it does now), and the other option gives you a scrolling x-hour window, and the value for x can be given via...
I followed JR's plan very closely. In fact, I purchased the panel from him, which was one of his prototype units. It worked out perfectly, though my soldering skills are greatly lacking. I really like having everything in one handy case... so does the missus!
After much delay in my schedule, I finally got my panel installed into the Pelican case! Even the wife says it was a worthwhile project. It's nice to have everything I need in one nice neat package.
Thanks to JR for the assistance!
It's really not all that bad... but I can understand the hesitation to jump in with the networking stuff.
If you have any other questions, fire away... somebody here will be able to answer!
Absolutely! The computer connection only makes it "easier" to monitor and control... and to do so from inside the house. Without the computer, it still has the same basic functionality -- that being, it will hold a given temperature, and allow you to monitor. I was in your shoes a couple...
In the two years I've owned my Summit, it's come to look a bit... tarnished. It's been well-used, and the smoke is just making the lid look bad. How are y'all cleaning yours? Give me your best ideas!
Joe -- I have a screen capture for you... where do I send it?
FYI, Telnet is the only way I can get my stoker to respond to StokerX. HTTP method is unresponsive.
Also, the sensor screen does correctly show the temps and the fan status... again, seems to have been fixed by a restart of the...
Which TRS jack did you guys find that is short enough to use on the back-side of the stoker? List your part number/vendor if possible. I've been unable to find anything that I feel confident would fit.
Thanks!
1 -- I'm not getting temps to chart.
2 -- Blower status on the "control" sensor type doesn't toggle off/on... should it?
3 -- Blower chart line seems to be reversed... it plots high when off, and low when on.
4 -- In the sensor list display, the current temps aren't updating.
Until I figure out...
