Genesis feels very solid (as it is), and heats up very quick. Used it yesterday to make some steaks in less time than it would have taken the coals to ash. I love the process of cooking...
I have an unused Smokey Joe Platinum I'd love to do this with, anyone know if this pot would fit that as well? I know the grate doesn't fit (too small).
Here's an example with it open, and before buying one I pictured myself standing in front of the grill itself, but in reality I stand where the table is and don't find the cover to be in the way at all.
Thanks Regina, and again Rolf that does help a lot... I think at this time it's definitely more a of 'want' than a need... guess I'll keep it on the wish list unless a screaming deal happens to pop up near me.

I'm a lefty, doesn't bother me at all... though there are times I wonder why they didn't just make it go back at maybe a 45* angle or something. Then again I'm 6'2 so that may be an issue for shorter people lol.
