Bought the One-Touch Gold this weekend

If it does I'm not seeing it. I guess I could hook it on the grill handle, but it's still shiny and new and I don't want it falling off and chipping just yet. Brian

Bought the One-Touch Gold this weekend

I've been wanting to ditch my gas grill in favor of charcoal and this weekend I did it. I bought a 22 1/2" One-Touch Gold at Home Depot for $139 and some accessories. Assembly was a breeze once I figured out the diagram for the ash catcher. This weekend I grilled steaks, sausage, portabella...

Pork Shoulder Roast = Pork Butt ???

Thanks for the replies. I apologize for posting this before searching the archives ... I'm now sifting through many similar subjects posted over the past few years. If nothing else, you can wander through the butcher's site and check prices and selection. What about $3.19/pound ... high, low...

Greg, Do you inject the meat as much as this recipe suggests? I haven't used injection as part of my cooking technique, but I may try it once. Brian A

    Pathetic quality of wood chunks

Greg, I'm using those same Home Depot wood chunks right now. I think I paid under $10 for a 20 lb bag. These chunks smoke great and have the entire property smelling like a BBQ cookoff. Brian A

Thanks Bryan and Phil, I should be familiar with Millersville ... I attended football camp there for about 10 summers. Gene Carpenter was the head coach them. Brian A

    Brisket

Phil, I have not been there. Can you guide me off either route 30 or route 222. Bryan, I will give that BJs a try. The York selection was rather slim. Brian A

    Brisket

Bryan S, Speaking of sources for meat ... The York BJs butcher said he was not ordering Boston butts since no one was buying them!!! I told him I was buying them and he said he would order a case or two for next week. He did indicate someone else was asking about them earlier today ... was...

NEW METHOD FOR FIRING UP THE WSM - QUICKLY.

Anyone tried this method since it was posted 4 years ago. The Minion method worked very well for me, but I may experiment with this technique and compare the times to reach the cooking temp. Brian A
