Yakitori on the Smokey Joe

We had yakitori for dinner last night. Yakitori is technically skewered grilled chicken but the term is generically used to include other bite sized grilled items besides chicken. Thanks for looking!

The yakitori platter included thighs & green onions, bacon asparagus, gizzards, wings, and peppers.

This is the Japanese basting sauce I used. Yakitori basting sauce is called "tare"

Hey thanks guys! It was a fun grilling session but the time spent skewering was quite tedious. This is one reason I don't do this that often.

Miguel......You know Sapporo is the only beer that goes with yakitori. Maybe we'll see you this weekend. You and Brenda can bring the wine...:)))

George, George, George, beer in not like wine. How about if you try a nice Wisconsin Laughing Cow with the Yakatori? Then I will try Sapporo
with Tri-Tip, and we can have a Corona with Pastrami, and a Lowenbrau (has to go through Jersey) with Italian sausage and pasta skewers.
Ahhhh thats much better. See how easy that was? C'mon you can do it..........
