WSM on the road

Last weekend I took my WSM on the road to cook for my grandpa's birthday. I wanted to give my grandma a break from always cooking for family parties, so I volunteered. There were nine of us for dinner, so I made pepper stout beef. For the party (about 50 or so), I made pulled pork sliders and ABTs.

WSM set up outside my grandpa's hobby butcher shop.

The players after a rub. A 6lb boneless blade roast, and 2 bone in pork butts, one 10 pounds, one 9.

Picture of the sunrise. I lit the coals about 6 am, this was around 7.

Beef finished.

Melted Jarlsberg cheese added. These were incredible. I will be making this again....and again...and again...

Pork butt number one ready to be pulled.

ABTs round 2 one. Pork butt number 2 was larger and needed more time. Also I didn't actually need to cook this one. Vacuum packed and into the freezer instead.

I didn't get any plated pics of the PP sliders or the ABTs because the party was in full swing, but they sure were tasty!

Thanks for looking!:wsm:

I don't think I have ever seen a beef roast made in that maner. I also think that sandwich should have a patent on it.
