Winter Wonderland……in TEXAS!

Cold weather has gripped the DFW area last night. After Monday and Tuesday's 80's, Thursday turned out to be much different! 20's and rain/sleet that turned into SNOW! Rare for down here! Snow covered 2-3"s of solid ice. Had to go out and take pictures of the grills and play with the dogs.

Pools ready, if anybody wants to swim!

Going to fire them up this weekend, thaw them out!

Say it ain't so ! We were in DFW last April and the weather was great... that's how I want to remember it.

We had a bit of a blizzard earlier in the week... didn't get above -13 F here today. Only 4 more months of the white stuff.

Welcome to winter Tim!! Great pics...love the dogs!! I felt like I was looking at twin Gerties...your pups look identical to my now 1 year old...she digs the snow as well!

Tim, Your bad weather made it this way today. Yesterday it rained all day and night which made the steak cook on the Kettle go a bit slow last night, then the cold snap came thru this AM and I almost busted my butt firing up the WSM this morning. I think we're in for it this year.
