Wings,Sliders and a New Decoration

Hey all,I haven't been posting a lot recently Pammi has been having some health issues directly related to her weight. We,well she,decided to have weight loss surgery. Early last month,she had what's called a sleeve gastrectomy. Basically,they removed 3/4 of her stomach! The first two weeks after surgery,she was on a liquid diet;protein drinks,broth and water. The next two,pureed and super soft foods;scrambled eggs,yogurt,hummus,refried beans and the like. This week and next,she can have soft foods like baked chicken,moist fish,and other things that are super soft. She lost 25 pounds over the summer,and another 25 in the five weeks since her surgery! She's looking and feeling MUCH better!
However,Pammi is a carnivore! She wanted a burger,but with a 4 ounce stomach,it was gonna have to be a slider! I ground up some turkey breast and a chuck steak 50/50. Seasoned with Weber's Gourmet Burger seasoning( I REALLY like that stuff!) and onto the Genesis it went! Here it is after the flip.

Very nice little burgers! Cooked just right,moist,but well done because of the bird!
She went out for some girl time earlier,so I was on my own for lunch. Wings it is! I marinated a small pack of flappers in a spicy ranch for about 5 hours. Indirect on the OTS for about 20 minutes.

Then flipped,still indirect,for another 20.

Then direct for a couple minutes per side to crisp the skin and give it some color.

I got to yakking with my neighbor about the Panthers game over my fence,so some got a little extra golden brown! Yeah,that's it,extra golden brown! And another p[lated pic. I'm on top of it today!

[/URL][/IMG] Simply served with some blue cheese dressing. A very nice snack/lunch!
And a friend gave me this for my birthday a couple months ago. I finally got it clear coated and hung.
