I'm not friends with him on FB, but can tell you he's active there, and recently too.
Sadly it's not unusual for frequent TVWBB posters to suddenly stop, or greatly reduce their posting.
I could name a dozen or more that I would like to see come back.
My posts are a lot less than a couple of years ago, but I'm here nearly everyday.
