Hello All

Kinda of beat up, but I can bring back to life. Does anyone know a parts list perhaps grill grates there are two of them & a regulator
I like to also use charcoal sometime if that is possible
Thanks in advance

Good pickup John. That's a 2005 performer judging by it's serial #. All you have to do is go to Weber's website and type that in to get a complete parts list. You may even be able to register it in your name. It is a charcoal grill, the propane is just an assist for lighting the charcoal. The model # is actually 841001. I don't know why Weber does that with their labels. The part # is really the model #.

Thank you Steve.
Appreciate the assistance. Best John

I'd light a full chimney or two and burn it off then cook something.

A SS food grate would be a good investment.

Thanks all for the advise and links. Can this top be painted black? if so what type of spray paint can I use. Thanks in advance

Sure, you can paint it, but it won't last long. It will scratch and scuff quickly. You would want to use a High heat paint. THis would be a good choice:
Rustoleum High Heat Ultra Black

If you find you don't like it, it can be removed later on fairly easily.

Try using fine steel wool (000 or 0000) and simple green on the bowl and lid. I'll bet it will look way better unless the porcelain finish is damaged.

Steel wool usually shines them up to look almost new (don’t worry, fine steel wool won’t scratch or harm the porcelain). If that doesn’t get the result you want or the porcelain is faded, keep an eye out for a lid in good shape from cheap/free used kettle to replace it.

Even a new lid from Weber is not too bad.mine was damaged in “straight line wind” event in 2013 the replacement was something like $65.00. Not a bad deal for a performer!
