What’s It?

I inherited a couple of these from my father about 30 years ago. Always had one handy and just thought that I never see these anymore. Any of you fellow fossils recognize this handy grilling tool?

Not a fossil but I would say it is for lifting the grate.

I have one of those, too! Simple and basic, but it works great.

Lol, and I was gonna say it's a wall pick.
We used to make homemade ones so you can carry a wall by yourself.

I have one of those grid lifters made by Napoleon.

Funny thing about them is that they get poor reviews because they don't come with instructions and they marketing photos shows someone using it incorrectly. Oh well, I paid $4 for mine and it works well.

Interestingly enough you can still buy a modern version of that "fossil". I'm pretty old but I've never seen one. Could be a useful tool though.
