Welcome Home new digs

Welcome back Russ & Deb, you were missed!
Beautiful home, envious of your cooking area!

roughly what altitude?

edit, any trout in that front yard pond? :)

Bob,
The altitude is a little over 7000 ft.
No trout in the pond though do have some ducks from my duck hunting days. The previous owners had gold fish in the pond, the crows had them for dinner.

Thanks everyone, it is good to be back among friends.
Brian, the recliner is a old one like 25 yrs old. But still comfy.
Rich & Barb, there are some neat places for sale in the neighborhood, come on up and take a look around if you get in the mood to move again.
Deb says she isn't moving again, period!
Miss the old place, but really do like it here.
Thanks for the kind words,
russ

Russ, you and Deb have the place Diane and I have been dreaming of since we first met back in 1970! I too would like to see the places for sale in your neighborhood, but knowing CO, land and views like that don't come cheap. We're still going to make the trip in the spring to look around again...hoping to fall into something just out of sheer luck!

I was going to say that "I hope you both enjoy your new home", but after seeing the pictures it would be a silly statement! Congrats to you both!

Russ and Deb, you have a beautiful home and your surroundings are awesome. Looks like you have made a few new friends since setting up your new home!
Just wonderful and many years to of enjoyment to you both.

Very nice Russ---- I could enjoy those surroundings, as I know you do too. I hope you're very happy there!

Love the new pad Russ...great grilling area...man ...scenery...if this was in my yard....

Well let's just say I'd be posting some good looking jerky and deer steak cooks...they don't grow like that here!!

Nice buddy...glad you got all moved in abd settled!! Nice job!!

Great new place you have there! Wildlife just a few steps away, nice view. Eminent Domain....no government should have that right, as they have abused it time and again.

Love the house Russ! Love the idea of a Mulie on the property too. I'm not so sure I could guarantee him safe passage if that were my place :)

too tame to eat??? nom nom nom :) sounds like massaged Kobe beef :)

next time you see a pet store I say buy $20 of feeder goldfish & see how they do in your pond...if no other reason than to see the ducks dive... goldfish are super hardy, but at 7000' they might freeze solid!

so many things to respond to in your thread! La-Z-Boys don't get GOOD until after 5 years anyway :)

Sorry you got displaced, but seems like you are pleased with the final outcome so congratulations on the new digs.
I really like the porch/deck and the surrounding area looks great too.
Is it hunting if the deer walk right up to you and surrender???
