Evening folks..sorry been off the grid for a bit...taking a break from posting but having been viewing some awesome cooks on here lately! Last weekend was a off weekend for the Hawks and this week they play on Monday but still managed to get a few cooks in!

We did some turkey roasts last nice smoked up...one for lunch meat and another for dinner!
Simple poultry rub and one has some tyme and rosemary

While the turkey roasted away at 350 with some hickory I enjoyed a few apricot ales!

And my girls were all tuckered out from playing and found a comfy spot!

After an hour I added some sweet taters!

And not much more after that...the booze factor kicked in, it got dark which is not real great for grilling photos cause they come out like this..

But dinner was served up just the same...stuffing, grilled Pattys and turkey and gravy of course!

Someday Morgan I got to get myself to Alaska, not just for the sights, but for one of your get togethers. Great cooks my Friend, you did well.

Nice job my friend... Looks like you had a great time and was eating some delicious food

Looking good Morgan.........both of them and the nighttime pic is cool.............................d

Excellent looking cooks Morgan, that turkey looks very moist. So where does the family (the ones that walk on two legs) sit?

I think this fantastic post got you caught up Morgan!
Lots of great looking stuff going on your grills and into your mouths up there!

Thanks everyone...was a good food weekend!

James...good question! Dogs have taken over!

Brian!! I highly suggest it! The directions I got was to mix creamy horseradish sauce with soy until it's about the color of peanut butter, salt and pepper the steak and marinade for 24 hours or so. I seared these and then moved them indirect and poured the rest of the marinade on them till they came up I temp! These were great!

Thanks again!!

looks great! we do those netted turkey breaks often to use as cold cuts for the week - they are great! your plates look superb (as always) Scary costume!
