Week night grilled chops

Last night I did some hand cut chops direct on the OTG around 450 with a simple salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder rub. Pared it with roasted carrots and a spring salad.





Also got stocked up on charcoal at lowes.



And some pecan wood from some trees that had to be cut.

Great looking chops and sides. Like your stockpile too. Home Depot was running a "While it Lasts" sale for Kingsford 20 lb. bags (two pack) for $12.88. I bought six! The Memorial Day Sales are right around the corner.

Did them in the oven with olive oil, salt and pepper.
