Yah, pretty expensive stuff and the shipping cost is hard to accept. But, I figure that if it can bring back a few of those very marginal black lids with a little fade, then it will be well worth it.

Jon, have you tried it on a control panel? I wonder if it would take the chalky look off my blackstone, that never looked bad until I washed it with dawn powerwash. Turned it from deep and shiny black, to chalky looking dark gray.
 
I will be very interested to see what you guys think about this product. Yes, the cost with shipping is way too high, but as Bruce said, if it saves a few marginal lids it is worth it.

Be sure to apply like they say and not rush it.

That one definitely looks off. The piezo has a locking nut on it like a 7509 for the Genesis 1000-5000. I don't know if it will still work on the grills it's supposed to because I've never tried. Edit: I think they just mixed up the photos between the two but I wouldn't chance it myself to save $2.

It is incredibly frustrating. Unless you make some mods to it, its short enough that it'll come right off the valve. I think the next one I am going to slightly file down where the burners screw into. I am thinking about just tacking the center tube down going forward. After I have run it and checked everything works.

I think I will be ordering a couple of the Parts direct burners. I got a couple of these packaged tubes and bars at a good discount, but constantly having to alter them is annoying.
