I really like this rub or I should say my family really likes this rub since it goes to the sweet side. I also like it because it does have a little kick but not overwhelming otherwise the kids wouldn't eat it. However last time at Sam's Club they didn't have it and I'm not finding it on the web. Anyone else use it? Or know where to get it?

Ingredients: Turbinado Sugar, Salt, Chili Pepper, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Garlic, Spices, Paprika (Color), Red Pepper, Spice Extractives, Soy Lecithin, Less Than 2% Silicon Dioxide to Prevent Caking.

The 2% Silicon Dioxide made me stop using these store bought rubs.

I found this and will modify, making my own as suggested

1/2 cup/120 mL brown sugar
1/4 cup/60 mL paprika
1 tablespoon/15 mL black pepper
1 tablespoon/15 mL salt
1 tablespoon/15 mL chili powder
1 tablespoon/15 mL garlic powder
1 tablespoon/15 mL onion powder
1 teaspoon/5 mL cayenne

I duno if you have a Winco near you, our Winco has a huge selection of spices to make your own Rubs. I get my recipes for rubs from Steven Raichlen's book. Tweak them a little sometimes, but most of them are fantastic right out of the book. Making your own rubs knocks off at least 70% of the cost of buying rubs
