If I’m not mistaken, only shortening the “legs” on the manifold where it bolts to the cook box to maintain proper positioning of the valve into the center of the holes in the control panel.

It's mainly the spacing between valves that is different on a deep box then a shallow

I have to cut and move the manifold to the left a hair.

Mark, you are probably going to have to mod the manifold to account for shorter valve stems on the manifold than what are normally on a deep box.

The manifold and the control panel holes line up ok but the burner tubes are not lining up very well with the 3 valves, I will need to heet and bend the burner tubes into place.
Much more work but I have a cutting tourch so that helps big time.

Mark will have the first Weber grill with "S" shaped burner tubes.
