Weber Flame 2700 For Sale Jersey Shore

Selling my rare and used Weber Flame 2700 with propane tank $75.00. Moving to Florida where I won’t be needing it. Works perfectly and starts immediately. There is some rust on the lid but totally cosmetic and never got around to fixing.

I could see using it in FLA. IDK, I think it would be a welcome thing on a cooler evening watching the alligators play :D All kidding aside they still get cool evenings there, and since your blood will become Floriditated you may need the warmth to survive those brutal 60 deg evenings :D

I agree with Larry. I would think there would be ample opportunity in Florida to use it. But, for those left behind in Jersey, that is a great price.

Those lids should be porcelain coated and should not have surface rust as that on looks to have. Either it isn't rust or maybe it is a custom lid.

Did you have any problems getting homeowners insurance in FL? I have heard it could be a problem or very expensive, but probably still less than the real-estate taxes in NJ';-)

Any way to get a new/ better condition lid. I'm in Jersey....
I have a feeling the lid is not really rusted. I think it is probably just some grime baked on much like the lid on a Genesis grill. They are both porcelain coated.

Honestly, the lid is totally functional and apart from the edges, it is otherwise perfect. I wanted to remove the rust (with rust remover), sand it and reapply paint so it would be perfect but couldn't do so given the cold weather. I could send you a detailed picture of the lid if you really interested. Let me know.

That is what I was trying to get across. I think that a good scrubbing with some #0000 steel wool and a cleaner will reveal a nice porcelain coated lid. If the edges have chipped porcelain however, there will likely actually be some rust there. But that discoloration on the top of the lid is likely just gunk build up.
