Weber Family Portraits

Just adopted a Genesis Gold C, a Craigs List find for $50! only thing wrong was the drip tray tracks were bent, bent them back in 2 minutes.

Picked up the stainless steel prep table for $100 and the Hobart slicer for $300 from an online auction site from a local restaurant that closed.

From right to left, my new 26" kettle, double stacked 18" WSM, 18" WSM, 18" kettle, then three 22" kettles. All Weber, all day

I have bought a few and sold a few and this is the current family. I don't see adding to it unless something collectible comes along.

Score. There is no other word to describe this, unless the Hobart turns out to be total junk. Slicers like that usually sell for a lot more, especially if the auction's live and on-site.

Love all the great pictures! Let’s see some more. These “family portraits” help me prove to my wife that she didn’t marry the only grill addict;)

New member to the family. Neighbor was moving and going to throw grill away. Of course I wouldn't allow that, so after many hours and about $150 in new parts here she is.

I wish I had taken a before picture as it was a dirty and rusted out mess. I hadn't welded in over 20 years but managed to weld in a new section on the left side that was completely rusted out. Weber had new right sides in stock which made things much easier. Fun project!

I hope the pictures come through. Dan

Passing time looking through older posts and saw your restoration of this Skyline. Beautiful! I am hoping to create a custom one out of parts I have if I can get a hood. I hope mine turns out as well as yours. Great save!

Starting from the Genesis Gold C in the back: its lid was sourced from a Spirit 700 that was a curbside find last month. Cost: free

Next, the Genesis Silver B on the right: its lid was sourced from a $10 Genesis 2000 that I bought just for the lid

Finally, the Genesis 1000 on the left: its lid was sourced from another Spirt 700 at my local transfer station. Rehabbed the grill and sold it but kept the lid for myself
