Used 22.5 WSM

I see on my local kijiji site a 22.5 WSM for sale for 250.00, does anybody see any problem with buying used equipment? Of coarse I just bought a 18.5 for 349.99 and this comes up!

Well Jeff, there are 2 things to consider…1) is it in good condition, and 2) does it seem worth the price to you? I am ignorant regarding Canadian dollars and American dollars, but if it's in the condition you would like and the price is fair to you, go for it. If there are any doubts about price and/or condition, it's time to negotiate! I hope it works out for you!

One Canuck to another:

That's a good price IF:

1) it's complete
2)its not rusted out and
3) you need it.

I find that my 18 can handle 6 racks (butts are not usually a good price and brisket is only sold by robber barons ($$$).

Get it if you want to as it is a good price but I've had mine for a few years now and IMO unless you regularly cook for a crowd, it's not needed.

If it cleans up to look new everywhere except inside, that is a good price.
