Two Pound Porterhouse

I'm not much for presentation, but I really liked the way this steak turned out, so I thought I would post it.

Had a few leftover veggies & such in the fridge, and the brown looking thing is an old homemade yeast roll that had been hiding for a while. :p

The center of the meat may not be up to forum standards, but I have women to consider at home here too.

If my wife would consider going “That rare” I’d be a seriously happy man and would share gladly! I want a big steak right now! Just had breakfast and that would be just dandy for a morning snack!

Hey Rusty..... That is one fine looking meal! I'm experimenting with buns and rolls right now. Might give your yeast rolls a try.

Rusty, that's still a nice looking plate. I'm lucky Barb likes her steak just grilled enough so she doesn't have to chase it around her plate, same as me.
remember a happy wife is a happy life.

Thanks, y'all! The steak did taste pretty good!

Special thanks to ChuckO for introducing me to McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning Marinate. Makes a big difference.

Cliff, and for anyone else that's interested, here's a link to a Cloverleaf yeast rolls recipe. There are a lot of variations out there, and this may not be the exact recipe my wife uses, but the rolls look similar to ours.
