Turkey Two Ways (this is a different thread!)

After the chicken cook, I wanted to make some turkey for lunchmeat. Unfortunately, the first pack that I thawed was actually turkey cutlets (who knew?), which is how we ended up with turkey two ways immediately after chicken two ways.

First up is the lunchmeat, which is a turkey London Broil (whatever that is) marinated in leftover buffalo wing sauce. On the grill indirect for some smoke.

Off the grill. I basted this with more buffalo sauce, which helped to dry out the surface enough that it only made an awful mess in the slicer and not a terrible mess.

Run through the slicer. This worked well and made great lunches this week and another week to be determined.

The cutlets became dinner the next night (the breast was cooked after the KF Chimis). Pounded out flat, seasoned with Cajun seasoning, and topped with homemade Boudin.

Rolled.

On the grill with the leftover Boudin.

Which became an appetizer with some Creole mustard.

Rolls are done.

Just to prove that this was a quick weeknight meal, plated up with a salad and boxed mac & cheese (which is much better liberally doused with homemade hot sauce).

Thanks for looking!

Excellent! Sometimes the best cooks are the ones where a curve is thrown into the mix. Great job on adapting! The lunch meat and the cutlets looks incredible!

Fantastic cook Jon! And if we have to eat the blue box mac n cheese I always hit it heavy with the hot sauce. We better keep that hush hush or Kraft may box spicy hot blue box mac next!!!:D

I'm going out of order here, heading to your chicken post next.
Hope it looks as great as your turkey post!
Everything looks super Jon!

John,

That looks fantastic. I could easily eat all of them. BTW: Turkey LB is just a boneless turkey breast.

Looks great to me...And i love turkey as lunch meat. I do it simmilar to yours and damn its good. 2 thumbs up!

Great looking birds Jon! I have been holding out for turkey this year! I normally cook a few turkey cooks prior to the holidays but we burned ourselves out on turkey last year!

Great cooks!
