Turkey Pot Pie

Like everyone else I'm sure, we've been working on our Thanksgiving leftovers. My wife made a delicious turkey soup that we finished up today. I made a turkey pot pie for my contribution. It's a Weber recipe, one of my favorites.

Here's the ingredients. Not shown is three cups of medium diced turkey.

Got the onions and carrots cooked for a few minutes.

Time for the celery and mushrooms.

Mixed the carrots and onions with the celery and mushrooms. Made the sauce with butter, Madras Curry Powder, flour and chicken broth. Added the sauce with the vegetables also. Poured mixture into my 10 in. CI pan.

Topped with Puff Pastry. Ready for grill.

Used an egg wash to baste onto crust prior to grilling.

On the Weber Kettle for about 50 minutes.

Let cool for a few minutes and served it up.

Boy, this was outstanding. I've made this recipe several times now. To us, it's the Hot Madras Curry Powder that makes this recipe pop. Thanks for looking everyone.

One of my favorites Cliff, and that one you did looks outstanding. Funny I was just looking at that recipe in Weber's Big Book of Grilling, thought I might try it, now I know I'm going to try it.
