Turkey on the Roti

I hadn't used my rotisserie in a while so a brought it back to life with a #14 Butterball. 4 1/2 hours it settled in at .285 and I used a couple chunks of apple. Not big Turkey fan but the roti makes it very moist. Should make for some good Sammies this week. Thanks for looking.

And I love the wheels on your Performer.
Indeed. One almost expects to see a transfer case underneath!

Bob, if you're not cooking Thanksgiving dinner I hope the person who is doesn't disappoint you too much...you've set the bar pretty high!

Thanks for all the nice words. I've found over the years that Rotisserie Turkey is just killer and its so easy to do. Also, I won't be cooking on Thanksgiving. Our family goes to a friends house. That's why I do my thing on the weekend before. Good luck to everyone on Thursday and don't mess it up.

Rotisserie Turkey is "officially" my favorite way to do turkey. Followed very closely by deep frying. Yours' looks really good! My son is doing 2 birds tomorrow, 1 in the oven and 1 on the roti, guess which one I'm looking forward to!

Bob,
Those veggies underneath turn into a side dish? Look like they're collecting some nice drippings down there.

Not really. I eat some of the carrots and celery and the rest gets blended in for the Gravy. Oh BTW, KILLER GRAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (My wife makes that) The best part of making a Turkey.
